Improvement Plans – Getting Started

Create Improvement Plans Up Next: Getting Started with Assignments

An improvement plan is a roadmap of activities designed to meet your client’s unique needs. It organizes tasks and homework into focus areas and strategies so that each assignment supports the larger goal.
By grouping activities under focus areas and strategies, you ensure that every task serves a clear purpose and that progress can be tracked systematically.

Step 1 – Identify Focus Areas

From your main toolbar, select Improvement Plan.
Tap the button to add a new focus area.
Choose a theme or domain that applies to your client’s experience—such as body image, sleep hygiene or stress management.
Example: “Body Image Issues” may be an appropriate focus area for a client dealing with negative perceptions about their appearance.

Step 2 – Identify a Strategy

Under each focus area, tap the button labelled Strategies to add a new strategy.
Describe a concrete approach to address the focus area (e.g., “Practice daily positive affirmations” for body image) and tap the button to save.

Step 3 – Add Activities & Homework

Tap the button under your strategy to open the activity library.
Choose activities that support the strategy you’ve defined. You can browse categories or search for specific interventions. Learn more about the available activities here.

Step 4 – Approve & Send

When your plan is complete, click Approve & Assign on the improvement plan toolbar to send activities to your client’s app.
