Cognitive restructuring teaches clients to recognize and challenge stress‑inducing thought patterns. By transforming negative thoughts into balanced, realistic statements, clients learn healthier ways of thinking.
Clients start by writing down negative thoughts. With AI assistance they classify each thought into a type of cognitive distortion (e.g., all‑or‑nothing thinking or catastrophizing), which builds self‑awareness.
The tool then guides clients to reframe the thought and identify triggers. They can set goals to address these triggers and journal about their experience to deepen reflection.
Regular participation is incentivized through our points & rewards system, encouraging consistent practice and reinforcing new thought patterns.
Examples of cognitive distortions include: all‑or‑nothing thinking, overgeneralization, mental filters, disqualifying the positive, jumping to conclusions, magnification/minimization, emotional reasoning, “should” statements, labeling/mislabeling and personalization.

Assign Cognitive Restructuring Activities
In your activity library choose Negative Thoughts to assign thought‑tracking and reframing tasks to a client.
Use the Negative Thoughts dashboard to monitor your client’s entries over time. Charts show frequency of distortions and track improvements as thoughts are reframed.
Discuss patterns with your client and assign new tasks that target persistent distortions or triggers. Adjust frequency or complexity as your client builds skills.
Consistent use helps clients uncover unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression and other challenges, enabling more targeted interventions.
