Two‑factor authentication adds a second step to the login process. After entering your password, you’ll need to provide a code sent to your email. This makes it much harder for anyone else to access your account, even if they know your password.
In mental and behavioral healthcare, protecting sensitive client data is paramount. Using 2FA helps you comply with privacy requirements and reinforces the trust your clients place in you.
Habit Of Living currently uses email‑based 2FA: we send a verification code to your validated email address every time you log in.
To turn on 2FA for your account:
Validate your email address. If you haven’t done so yet, a banner at the top of your settings page will guide you through the process.
After your email is verified, tap Enable Two‑Factor Authentication in the account security section. You’ll see a confirmation message when it’s turned on.
From now on, each time you sign in, we’ll send a unique verification code to your registered email. Enter this code to complete your login.
2FA adds a powerful barrier between your account and attackers. Even if your password is stolen, nobody can log in without the verification code we send you.
Combine 2FA with the other best practices from our
account security guide—strong, unique passwords; regular activity reviews; and safe device usage—for comprehensive protection.
