Visualization allows clients to translate emotions into art. They can choose from styles inspired by classical paintings, modern street art and other creative aesthetics to represent how they feel.
This tool is especially valuable for clients who struggle to articulate emotions verbally. Creating images provides a non‑verbal outlet for experiences that are hard to put into words.
Visualizing feelings often reveals new insights, patterns and triggers. The art becomes a mirror of emotional states that you and your client can explore together in therapy.
Our points & rewards system encourages regular engagement and exploration of personal emotional landscapes.
Reviewing and Interpreting Visualizations
Open the Visualizations tab on your client’s Explore dashboard to view their artwork.
Each image captures the emotional state at the time of creation. Discuss what the client sees in their work and how it resonates with their feelings.
Look for recurring colors, themes or motifs across sessions. These patterns can reveal deeper emotional trends that may not be obvious through words alone.
Use these visuals as conversation starters and to tailor interventions to the client’s emotional expressions. For example, you might pair visualization with journaling or cognitive restructuring to explore underlying themes.

Assign Visualization Activities
Choose Visualization from your activity library to assign an art‑based exercise.
Provide a brief description or theme—such as “create an image of how stress feels”—to guide your client’s use of the tool.
After they complete the activity, review the artwork together to deepen your understanding of their emotional state and inform subsequent interventions.
