Team roles and client assignment
Compare administrator and member capabilities and understand the limits that protect client responsibility.
Administrator capabilities
- Invite, remind, remove, promote, or demote teammates.
- Manage the shared roster and reassign clients when the client is eligible for reassignment.
- Manage teammate access and the practice pricing workspace.
- Access clinical work only for clients assigned to the administrator.
Member capabilities
- See and work with clients assigned to the member.
- Add a new client to the member’s own assignment.
- Open the assigned client’s care workspace and complete qualifying care work.
- Complete provider work for an assigned client; the practice controls organization billing and its connected payment account.
Access and continuity rules
- Clinician and staff accounts are unlimited. Pending invitations expire after 72 hours.
- A teammate cannot leave or be removed while clients remain assigned to that teammate.
- An active care service can temporarily prevent client reassignment.
- A removed or departing provider returns to a personal workspace after continuity requirements are resolved.
Keep in mind
Team access should reflect actual job responsibilities. Review the roster when responsibilities change.
